* FIRST APPOINTMENT - Father Sten Sandmark, ordained at Zaitzkofen on 26 June, has been assigned to this District as an additional priest, and will take up residence at Saint Saviour’s House, Bristol on 18th August. We wish him every blessing and happiness in his new post.
* DECEASED - Please remember in your prayers the following who died recently: John Boyle of Motherwell, Aidan Fanning of Bristol, Maria Keoshgerian of London, Maurice Marshal of Exeter, and Valerie Potkins of Worthing. R.I.P.

12-24 August - Boys’ summer camp in Burghclere (applications to Fr Sherry at St Andrew’s House, Carluke)
16-21 August - Women’s Ignatian Retreat with Frs Kimball and Clifton
28 August - Pilgrimage to Glastonbury Abbey: 12 noon Mass followed by picnic lunch and Rosary procession.
* WALSINGHAM PILGRIMAGE - 4th September; departure from the Slipper Chapel at 1 pm followed by Mass in the Priory grounds. Mass on Sunday 5th September at 11 am in the Priory grounds.

* CANTERBURY PILGRIMAGE -This successful pilgrimage (23-25 July) was our twenty-fifth: Deo Gratias! Special thanks go to Mr Joseph Bevan and family for organising this event, and indeed to all the helpers from our Herne chapel.
