At the words "Et incarnatus est..." ("And was incarnate..") the Priest, servers and congregation kneel with profound reverence for the mystery of our salvation where God, with the co-operation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, became man through the action of the Holy Ghost.

The Priest then sits at the sedilia, with head covered, while the Choir finishes singing the Creed.
