Bowing low at the middle of the altar, the Priest asks the Holy Trinity to accept the offerings in memory of the passion and resurrection of Christ and in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the saints with the prayer "Suscipe, sancta Trinitas" ("Accept, most holy Trinity this offering...").
