The Ablutions

During the prayer "Quod ore sumpsimus" a little wine is poured into the chalice, which the Priest drinks, and then a mixture of wine and water poured over his fingers during the prayer "Corpus tuum" to collect any fragments of the Host which may remain on them; the Priest also drinks this mixture.

The Missal is moved back to the "Epistle side" of the altar and the sacred vessels are covered with the veil.
