Incensing of the Offerings
The Priest incenses the Host and chalice in the form of a cross three times and then passes the thurible around them three times in an encircling movement:
NCENSUM istud a te
benedictum, ascendat ad te, Domine: et descendat super nos misericordia tua.
AY this incense
which Thou hast blessed, O Lord, ascend to Thee, and may Thy mercy descend upon us.
