The "Pax Domine"

The Priest makes the sign of the cross with the particle of the Host over the Chalice three times, saying:

PAX The sign of the cross.Domine sit The sign of the cross.semper The sign of the cross.vobiscum.  R. Et cum spiritu tuo.

THE PEACE The sign of the cross.of the Lord be The sign of the cross.always with The sign of the cross.you.  R.  And also with you.

The Priest places the particle of the Host into the Chalice while saying:

HAEC commixtio et consecratio Corporis et Sanguinis Domini nostri Jesu Christi, fiat accipientibus nobis in vitam aeternam.  Amen.

MAY this mingling and consecration of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ be to us who receive it effectual unto eternal life.  Amen.
